Rob’s 1-2 Punch Burger
For the burgers:
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
8 strips of bacon, cooked
4 hamburger buns
For the burger sauce:
1/2 cup mayo
1 tbsp. mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. pickle relish
Heat the coals on your grill. (You could also use a cast iron skillet on the stove.)
In a bowl put in the meat and spices. Mix well until the spices are well incorporated into the meat. Using wax paper split the meat into 4 equal balls. Fold the wax paper in half, place the beef ball inside and press down into a thin patty. Repeat for all four patties.
Place the patties on the hot grill and cook for 1-2 minutes a side. Toast your buns too.
When the patties are done mix all the ingredients for the burger sauce in a small bowl.
To assemble the burger take the bun, add burger sauce, place on the patty, then the bacon, and more sauce and add the top bun. Enjoy!
